One of my favorite shows on television is N.C.I.S. A few weeks ago they had a story about the Vietnam Wall in Washington D.C. A very emotional story about a Vietnam Vet visiting the Wall through a program called Honor Flight Network. This group brings WW2, Korean, and Vietnam Veterans to Washington D.C. to visit and honor our Veterans. Their Website is: www.HonorFlight.org The story brought out a sad truth about our Vietnam Veterans. When these soldiers came home they did not receive any welcome home parades or any other honors that they deserved. At the end of the show the veteran in this story received a hero's welcome from his hometown. Help us show our Vietnam Veterans the appreciation they didn't get 50 years ago.

The new Northeast bathrooms is coming right along with walls nearly finished. Close to the Floral Hall and rides, this should help the waiting in long lines during the Fair. Another project for this summer is a new storm drain near the fairboard office and going out to the parking lot. Last year we had a summer storm that flooded the whole building and we hope this will stop it.
